The title alludes to the children conceived and abandoned by the soldiers of the Jewish Brigade, since 1943 a part of the British army, while moving across Europe. A father and a son drive along the tracks of the Jewish soldiers and seek an answer to their family's mystery: Do we have relatives in Netherlands whom we don't know of? Yet above all, the trip offers them an opportunity for mutual understanding. The film utilizes archive footage but its core are the dialogs between two men arguing and laughing over important and trifle matters in the limited space of a car.
